​Flamenco is a genre of Spanish music, song, and dance from Andalusia, in southern Spain, that includes cante (singing), toque (guitar playing), baile (dance) and palmas (handclaps). First mentioned in literature in 1774, the genre grew out of Andalusian and Romani music and dance style. Different Flamenco forms are also at times named after the regions in which they were born such as "Tangos de Malaga" from Malaga and the "Sevillanas" from Seville, Spain.
In recent years flamenco has become popular all over the world and is taught in many countries: in Japan there are more academies than there are in Spain. On November 16, 2010 UNESCO declared flamenco one of the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

弗拉明戈（Flamenco），是一种源于西班牙南部安达卢西亚地区的艺术形式，包括歌曲、音乐和舞蹈。

弗拉明戈的形成深受安达卢西亚地区的摩尔人和犹太人的影响，还吸收了大量罗姆人（吉普赛人）的艺术元素。当代著名的弗拉明戈舞蹈家大多是罗姆人。由于西班牙政府以此推动旅游业，弗拉明戈舞已经成了西班牙舞蹈甚至西班牙文化的代表。

要欣赏最正宗的弗拉明戈表演，最好的地方是其发源地西班牙南部的安达卢西亚，以塞維利亞、格拉纳达等地的为最好。弗拉明戈舞厅的表演通常票价几十欧元，但也有一些酒吧有弗拉明戈表演，收费主要是酒水费。欣赏时如能随着音乐击掌或喊“欧嘞”（en:Olé）则更容易融入弗拉明戈艺术氛围之中。

近年来，由于弗拉明戈舞是一种很个性化的舞蹈，有助于缓解都市人的紧张生活，弗拉明戈舞在世界各地非西班牙语的国家中也得到了迅猛的推广。在亚洲，日本、韩国、香港、台湾，以及中国大陆的上海、广州等地弗拉明戈舞成了一种新型的娱乐健身方式



Paco de Lucía:

Paco de Lucía, born Francisco Gustavo Sánchez Gómez (in Algeciras, Cádiz on December 21, 1947), is a Spanish flamenco guitarist and composer. He is regarded as one of the finest guitarists in the world and the greatest living guitarist of the flamenco genre. He is noted in particular for his dexterity, technique and strength in his right hand, capable of executing extremely fast and fluent picados. He is also the uncle of award winning Spanish singer Malú.

He is a leading proponent of the Modern Flamenco style, and is one of the first flamenco guitarists who has also successfully crossed over into other genres of music such as classical and jazz. He is the winner of the 2004 Prince of Asturias Awards in Arts and in 2010 was awarded an honorary doctorate by Berklee College of Music in Boston.

帕克·德·路西亚（西班牙语：Paco de Lucía，1947年12月21日－）是一位弗拉明戈吉他手，20世纪以来弗拉明戈界的领军者之一，以演奏技术和多产的音乐专辑著称，所以又被称为弗拉明戈之神。在1968-1977年间，他曾与同样是传奇人物的弗拉明戈歌手Camarón de la Isla合作了10张经典唱片，这使其成为弗拉明戈史上最为强悍的搭档。从1979年后，他又与其他两位爵士吉他大师John McLaughlin和Al di Meola组成被认为历史上最好的的吉他三重奏(The Guitar Trio)，三人共发行了数张融合各种音乐风格的唱片，尤其在1981年发行的Friday Night in San Francisco最为著名。

Camarón de la Isla:

Camarón de la Isla (5 December 1950 – 2 July 1992), was the stage name of a Spanish flamenco singer José Monje Cruz. Considered one of the all time greatest flamenco singers, he was noted for his collaborations with Paco de Lucia and Tomatito, and between them they were of major importance to the revival of flamenco in the second half of the 20th century.

卡馬隆·德·拉·伊斯拉(Camarón de la Isla)本名 José Monge Cruz 1950年12月5日出生於 San Fernando ，1992年7月2日在 Badalona 過世，是一名佛朗明哥男歌手。
